Begin with 2 nights in Amboseli, famed for its large elephant herds set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
You will then connect by scheduled flight via Nairobi to the Maasai Mara for 3 nights of exceptional Big Five game viewing across vast open plains.
With comfortable tented camps, professional guides, and 4x4 Land Cruiser game drives, this year-round itinerary offers a well-balanced safari experience with minimal travel time and maximum wildlife encounters.

Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli by morning flight
Pick up from your hotel at 6a.m, transfer to Wilson Airport for an early-morning flight to Amboseli. Arrive and have first game drive en route to the camp. Afternoon game drive is at 3/4p.m.
Overnight: Praro Amboseli/Ol Tukai Lodge/Tawi Lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Amboseli – morning & afternoon game drives
Amboseli – Morning and afternoon game drives
Optional Activity – Balloon ride and Maasai Village visit

Day 3: Amboseli – Transfer to Maasai Mara via Nairobi
Have breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a morning flight to Maasai Mara. This is a flight through Nairobi. Arrive by noon and be picked by the guide. Check in at the camp and have lunch followed by an afternoon game drive at 3/4p.m.
Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Day 4 & 5: Maasai Mara – Full-day
Spend these 2 days with either full-day game drives or morning and afternoon game drives. Full-day game drive with picnic lunch.
