Balloon Safaris

A balloon safari is a spice to a normal wildlife safari. Tired of viewing wildlife from the normal 4 x 4 vehicle or tour van, you need to try ballooning. This involves taking an aerial view of a park and viewing wildlife from much higher ground. The highlight of this short safari above the ground is the Champagne/Bush Breakfast served at the end of the safari. Places to partake this experience is Maasai Mara, Serengeti and the new addition, Amboseli.

Photography and Filming

These tours are for those who love photography or want to film things that interest them. Be it dances of the residents, the wildebeest migration or anything that you need to be captured, we can organize it for you. We will go through the process of ensuring that your filming goes well without interruptions. Most filming needs permits and we are here to ensure we can get them before travel.

Wildebeest Migration Safaris

During the months of June through to October, there is the wildebeest migration in the Maasai Mara in Kenya. This is the river crossing that Wildebeest and zebras take from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania into the Maasai Mara, Kenya in search of greener pastures. During the crossing of the river, the wildebeest have to overcome the wrath of hungry crocodiles that always are a beneficial lot during this migration. They have to wrestle with the crocodiles to survive, which is the highlight of the event, but not all of them make it to the other end as the crocodiles overpower them. Even after crossing to Maasai Mara, they are still hunted by other larger carnivores like lion, but that is just a balance of the ecosystem. This is a spectacular event is what we want you to experience!

Mountaineering

If you would like to climb Mount Kenya, Kenya’s tallest mountain or Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain, we have tours to these areas. You can climb solo or with your group or even join a group of people from across the globe. These tours are guided by an experienced mountain climber who understands routes to the top. Climbing takes between 3 to 7 days depending on how far one would like to go, but it is advisable to always climb to the top and experience how it feels like being there.

Hiking/Trekking

These are short nature walks through hills, forests, villages, rivers, parks and small mountains. In Kenya, common areas of hikes and treks include Mount Longonot, Lake Naivasha (Cresent Island), Kerio Valley, Kakamega Forest, Kisumu Impala Sanctuary, Nairobi Animal Orphanage and Safari Walk. These tours designed to bring one close to nature, but not too close to wildlife. During safaris to parks, one can take a short visit to the Maasai Manyattas and learn a few things about their culture as you engage in dances.
In Uganda trekking takes place in Bwindi Forest where you get to meet gorillas.

Birding Tours

These are tours designed for those who love birds and would like to sample what Kenya and Tanzania have to offer.
