This is a 6-day safari wildlife adventure through 3 tour destinations, including Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Elementaita, and Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Your safari tour begins at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world. See these incredible creatures up close and learn about the conservancy's efforts to protect them.

You'll also spot other wildlife such as elephants, lions, and giraffes, and visit the chimpanzee sanctuary.

Next, you'll head to Lake Elementaita, a stunning soda lake in the Great Rift Valley, and a haven for flamingos and other birdlife.

Finally, you'll arrive at Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations, where you'll spend the last 2 days of your safari on game drives, searching for the Big Five and other animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and cheetahs.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Approx. 4 hours)

Be picked from your Nairobi hotel at 7a.m. and immediately you head to Ol Pejeta Conservancy to arrive before lunch time. Check in at the camp, have lunch and later a game drive at 3/4p.m. You will have a chance to visit a chimp sanctuary just within the park.

Overnight: Sanctuary Tambarare/Maisha Sweetwaters/Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Game Drives

Enjoy a private visit with the tame animals at the wildlife orphanage. You will also visit a Chimp sanctuary.

Overnight: Sanctuary Tambarare/Maisha Sweetwaters/Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 3: Sweetwaters – Transfer to Lake Elementaita (Approx. 3 hours)

Have breakfast then depart for Lake Elementaita. Arrive and have lunch. Afternoon is either spent relaxing by the lodge or guided walks at the shores of the lake.

Optional activity – Horse riding

Overnight: Lake Elementaita Serena Camp

Day 4: Lake Elementaia – Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approx. 5-6 hours)

Have an early breakfast then depart for Maasai Mara to arrive in time for lunch. Have lunch then relax before an afternoon game drive at 3/4p.m.

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

 

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Full day

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in search of the big five and many other wildlife. There will be picnic lunch along Mara River or a good spot chosen by your guide.

Optional activity: Hot air balloon, a visit to Maasai village & guided nature walks

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi (Approx. 5 Hours)

Have breakfast, then depart for Nairobi, arrive in time for lunch and be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
