This is a 5-day safari through three of Kenya's national parks, Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, starting from Nairobi and ending in Mombasa.

Amboseli National Park is famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Tsavo East National Park, the largest park in Kenya, known for its red elephants and diverse landscapes. Saltlick Game Sanctuary is a unique park located in the heart of the Taita Hills.

Enjoy a game drive in search of the Big Five and other animals such as cheetahs, gazelles, and baboons.

Stay in a luxurious lodge built on stilts, offering breathtaking views of the sanctuary and its wildlife.

Your safari will end in Mombasa, where you can soak up the sun and relax on the beautiful beaches of the Kenyan coast.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli, Approx. 4 hours

You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel at 7a.m. and immediately depart for Amboseli. You will arrive in Amboseli by mid-morning. Check in at the lodge/camp and later enjoy lunch then relax before your afternoon game drive at 4 O’clock for 2 hours.

Overnight: Praro Amboseli/Ol Tukai Lodge/Tawi Lodge

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2: Amboseli – Day tour in Tsavo West – Overnight at Saltlick

Have pre-breakfast game drive. Have breakfast then depart for Tsavo West to arrive by mid-morning and immediately have a game drive as you head to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon visit Mzima springs where you may view the crocodiles and hippos swimming under water.

You will also be driven to the “shetani” lava flows and have a view of Chyulu Hills too. Later drive to Saltlick for overnight stay.

Overnight: Saltlick Safari Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 3: Saltlick – Full-day game drive

Have a morning and afternoon game drives.

Overnight: Saltlick Safari Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 4: Saltlick – Transfer to Tsavo East, Approx. 2 hours

Have breakfast and immediately depart for Tsavo East to arrive before lunch at the lodge. Have lunch then relax before an afternoon game drive at 4p.m.

Overnight: Ashnil Aruba Lodge/Satao Camp/Voi Wildlife Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 5: Tsavo East – Transfer to coast; Diani/Mombasa/Watamu, Approx. 3 hours

Depart Tsavo East after breakfast to arrive in your coastal hotel by mid-morning.
