Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Dar Es Salaam – Transfer to Ruaha, By flight

You will be picked from your Dar Es Salaam hotel and be transferred to the airport for a morning flight to Ruaha. You will arrive by mid-morning and be met by camp’s guide who will give you the 1st game drive en route to the camp for lunch.

Afternoon game driver is at 4p.m. Ruaha is known for baobab elephants, all big cats, wild dogs and one of the most pristine wilderness in Southern Tanzania.

Overnight: Jabali Ridge/Kwihala Camp

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2 & 3: Ruaha – Full day game drive

Have breakfast then depart with picnic lunches for full-day game drives.

Alternatively, have morning and afternoon game drives.

Optional Activities: Sun downers, bush breakfasts & guided walks

Overnight: Jabali Ridge/Kwihala Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 4: Ruaha – Transfer to Dar by flight (Can connect to Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro)

Have early breakfast, check out of the camp and have a final game drive as you head to the airstrip for a flight to Dar Es Salaam.
