This 4-day fly-in safari is designed for travelers who want maximum time in the Maasai Mara with minimal transit.

Departing from Nairobi, with optional departures from Diani, Malindi, Lamu, or Nanyuki, you will arrive in the reserve by scheduled flight and begin your experience with a game drive straight from the airstrip.

Enjoy 3 nights in premium tented camps, guided 4x4 Land Cruiser game drives, and outstanding Big Five viewing across the Mara’s vast plains.

Available year-round, this itinerary offers efficiency, comfort, and an authentic safari experience in Kenya’s most popular wildlife destination.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Maasai Mara (By mid-morning Flight)

Pick up from Nairobi hotel at 8.am., transfer to Wilson Airport for a mid-morning flight to Maasai Mara. Upon landing in the wild, be met by our guide who will drive you to the camp with an introductory game drive en route. Have hot lunch and later an afternoon game drive at 3/4p.m.

Note:– Tour can start upon landing at JKIA, or also opt for an afternoon flight.

Overnight: Ilkeliani or Zebra Plains/Entim Camp/Mara Bush Camp (Private Wing)/Kichwa Tembo Camp

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2 & 3: Maasai Mara – Full day

These 2 days with either a full-day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives. There will be picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River.

Optional activities: Hot air balloon & guided nature walks

Overnight: Ilkeliani or Zebra Plains/Entim Camp/Mara Bush Camp (Private Wing)/Kichwa Tembo Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi (By flight)

Have breakfast, check out of the camp for a short game drive en route to the airstrip for a flight back to Nairobi or coast. Have lunch in Nairobi before drop off at your hotel or airport.
