Your 4-day Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara safari adventure begins at Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its pink flamingos and black and white rhinos. You'll spend the first two days exploring the park's diversity, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as baboons, rhinos zebras, and lions.

From Lake Nakuru, you'll make your way to the Maasai Mara, one of the world's most famous wildlife reserves. Spend the next two days on safari, venturing deep into the vast savannahs in search of the Big Five and other animals such as cheetahs, hyenas, and wildebeests. You'll have the chance to visit a Maasai village and learn about their traditional way of life and culture.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Lake Nakuru (Approx. 3 hours)

Be picked by our driver/guide from your Nairobi hotel at 7a.m and immediately depart for Lake Nakuru to arrive by mid-morning. Have a game drive as soon as you arrive as you head to the lodge. Afternoon game drive is at 3-6p.m.

Overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge/Sarova Lion Hill/The Cliff

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approx. 5 – 6 hours)

Have breakfast then depart from Mara to arrive at lunch time. Afternoon game drive is at 4p.m.

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Full day

Spend this day with a full-day game drive in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits this beautiful savannah plain. There will be picnic lunch during the day.

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

 

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi (Approx. 5 hours)

Have breakfast, then depart for Nairobi, arrive in time for lunch, and be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
