A 4-day Masai Mara safari is a great way to visit one of the most famous wildlife destinations. The safari begins with a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve, where you'll spend your days exploring the vast savannah grasslands, rolling hills, and abundant wildlife.

Here, you'll have an opportunity to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinoes, as well as countless other wildlife varieties, such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas and many more. Your accommodation will vary from rustic tented camps to luxury lodges.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approx. 5 hours)

You will be picked by our tour guide/driver from your Nairobi hotel at 6.30a.m. Depart for Mara immediately to arrive in time for lunch. Later have game drive at 3p.m. till 6p.m.

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2 & 3: Maasai Mara – Full day

Spend these 2 days with full-day game drives in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits these beautiful savannah plains. There will be picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River.

Optional activities: Hot air balloon & guided nature walks

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi

Have breakfast, then depart for Nairobi, arrive in time for lunch and be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
