Descend into the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, then continue to Amboseli, where large elephant herds roam beneath the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara (Approx. 6 hours)

Our driver will pick you up at 6:30 a.m. from your Nairobi hotel or residence and immediately depart for Masai Mara. There will be one stop over to view the Great Rift Valley. You'll arrive in Mara at lunchtime. You'll enjoy lunch then relax before your afternoon game drive at 4 O’clock for 2 hours. You will return later to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Basecamp Maasai Mara/Sarova Mara Game Camp/Entim Camp/Mara Bush Camp/Kichwa Tembo Camp

Day 2-3: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drives

You'll spend these 2 whole days with game drives in search of the Big Five and many other wildlife that inhabits this beautiful savannah land. The game drive starts from 8:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. There will be a picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River.

Optional activities: Hot air balloon, a visit to Maasai village and guided nature walks.

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp or Basecamp Maasai Mara/Sarova Mara Game Camp/Entim Camp/Mara Bush Camp/Kichwa Tembo Camp

Day 4: Mara - Serengeti National Park by Flight

You'll have breakfast and then be transferred to the airstrip for a flight to Migori departing Mara at 8.45 a.m. to arrive in Migori at 11:00 a.m. There is a short scenic road transfer between Migori Airstrip and Tarime Airstrip. There will be a stop for immigration.

Upon landing in Serengeti in the afternoon, you will be picked up by our guide and immediately have a game drive till 6:00 p.m. when you check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5-6: Serengeti National Park Game Drives

This whole day, you will have breakfast then depart for a full-day game drive carrying a packed lunch with you. You will enjoy searching for wildlife in this vast savannah land. There will be a break for a picnic lunch at one of the picnic spots. You will have another game drive as you slowly drive to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will head out to Ngorongoro. You will have a game drive as you leave the park and also have a short game drive as you arrive in Ngorongoro as you enjoy the excellent views. You will arrive at the lodge and enjoy the rest of the day at the lodge to relax from extensive game drives.

Overnight: Lemala Ngorongoro/Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour - Arusha

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge with a packed picnic lunch and depart for a tour of the crater floor, which is home to numerous plains game.

You will spend the day at the foot of the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park. In the afternoon, you will head to Arusha where you will spend the night.

Day 9: Arusha - Amboseli National Park by Road

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart to the Namanga border. You will clear customs and immigration formalities then join your Kenya tour driver and proceed to Amboseli.

Once you arrive at the park, you will enjoy a game drive as you head to the lodge for lunch. The afternoon game drive is at 4:00 p.m.

Look out for large herds of elephants, lions, leopards, gazelles, wild dogs, and the magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Overnight: Kibo Safari Camp/Ol Tukai Lodge/Tortilis

Day 10: Amboseli National Park Morning and Afternoon Game Drives

You will spend this day with morning and afternoon game drives with a stay in the camp in between.

Ol Tukai Lodge sits in the heart of the park making it good for easy game viewing. You can watch wildlife right from your room or the lodge's facilities. The swamp nearby has elephants feeding and drinking from it.

Overnight: Kibo Safari Camp/Ol Tukai Lodge/Tortilis

Day 11: Amboseli - Nairobi

You will have another last game drive then return to the lodge for breakfast. You will depart for Nairobi thereafter, arrive, and have lunch before drop off at your hotel or airport.
