Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha - Transfer to Tarangire (Approx. 3 hours)

Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 7a.m. and depart for Tarangire to by arrive mid-morning where you will check in at the lodge/camp for lunch. Have lunch, relax and later a game drive at 3/4p.m.

Overnight: Oliver’s Camp/Tarangire Treetops/Tarangire Sopa Lodge/Elephant Springs & Tarangire Safari Lodge

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2: Tarangire – Full day

Either full day game drive with picnic lunch or morning and afternoon game drives with the rest of the day spent relaxing by the lodge/camp.

Overnight: Oliver’s Camp/Tarangire Treetops/Tarangire Sopa Lodge/Elephant Springs & Tarangire Safari Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 3: Tarangire – Transfer to Ngorongoro (Approx. 3 hours)

You will have early breakfast then depart for Ngorongoro. Carry picnic lunch on this day as you will visit floor of the crater as soon as you arrive.

Spend the day with a game drive in Ngorongoro crater and later check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Transfer to Serengeti (Approx. 4 hours)

Have early breakfast then depart for Serengeti to arrive before lunch time.

Once you arrive have an introductory game drive en route to the camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 4p.m.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 5 & 6: Serengeti – Full day

Have breakfast then depart for a full-day game drive carrying packed lunch with you.

Enjoy searching for wildlife in this vast savannah land.

Alternatively, have morning and afternoon game drive with rest of the time spent at the camp or lodge.

Day 7: Serengeti – Transfer to Arusha/Kilimanjaro by flight

Have breakfast then be driven to the airstrip for a mid-morning flight to Arusha/Kilimanjaro. You will have a final transfer to your hotel.
