This 3-day safari from Mombasa offers a seamless and scenic journey from the coast to the Amboseli National Park.
Travel by the SGR train to Emali, and continue by 4x4 Land Cruiser into Amboseli.

Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Mombasa – Transfer to Amboseli by train (Approx. 4-5 hours)
You will be picked by or driver from your beach hotel early in the morning and transfer you to Train station for a morning train to Emali.
Arrive before noon and be picked by our safari driver and immediately head to Amboseli which is less than 2 hours away. You will arrive at lunch time.
Check in at the camp/lodge, have lunch and relax before an afternoon game drive at 3/4p.m. for 3 hours. Return later to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Praro Amboseli/Ol Tukai Lodge/Tawi Lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Amboseli – Full day
Spend this day with morning and afternoon game drives or alternatively, have breakfast then have a game drive till midday when you return to the lodge for lunch, then later have another one at around 4/4.30p.m.
Optional Activities – Balloon ride & Cultural tour
Overnight: Praro Amboseli/Ol Tukai Lodge/Tawi Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Amboseli – Transfer to Mombasa – by train or Nairobi by road
Have breakfast then be return to Emali train station where you board a mid-morning train to Mombasa. Arrive and be picked and dropped off at your beach hotel.
Alternatively, head to Nairobi by road.
