This 3-day safari from Arusha offers a compact yet rewarding journey through two of northern Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.

Explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, before heading to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense natural sanctuaries.

The itinerary also includes a visit to Lake Manyara, known for its diverse birdlife and scenic landscapes.

Traveling in a comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser with experienced guides, this year-round safari delivers excellent game viewing and memorable scenery within a short timeframe.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha - Transfer to Tarangire (Approx. 2.5-3 hours)

Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 7a.m. and depart for Tarangire with packed picnic lunch. You will arrive by mid-morning where you will have a game drive till lunch time for picnic lunch. Have another game drive till early evening where you check in at the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge/Elephant Springs/Tarangire Safari Lodge

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2: Tarangire - Transfer to Ngorongoro (Approx. 1.5 - 2 hours)

Have breakfast and immediately depart for Ngorongoro for crater tour. You will arrive by mid-morning. You will have picnic lunch at the foot of the crater. Later head to the lodge/camp for overnight.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena/Ngorongoro Crater Camp/Lions Paw Ngorongoro

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

 

Day 3: Ngorongoro - Transfer to Arusha (Approx. 4 hours)

 

Have breakfast then depart for Arusha and be dropped off at your hotel.
