Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli by morning flight

Pick up from your hotel at 6a.m, transfer to Wilson Airport for an early-morning flight to Amboseli. Arrive and have first game drive en route to the camp. Afternoon game drive is at 3/4p.m.

Overnight: Praro Amboseli/Ol Tukai Lodge/Tawi Lodge

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2: Amboseli – morning & afternoon game drives

Amboseli – Morning and afternoon game drives.

Optional activities: –Balloon ride and Maasai Village visit

Overnight: Praro Amboseli/Ol Tukai Lodge/Tawi Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, have a transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This flight has a connection in Nairobi and departs Amboseli at 0810 hours to arrive at 0840 hours. Nanyuki flight departs at 10.20a.m. to arrive at 11a.m. You will be met by the guide who will drive you to the camp a game drive en route.

Overnight: Sanctuary Tambarare/Maisha Sweetwaters/Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 4: Ol Pejeta – Morning and afternoon game drives

Spend this day with morning and afternoon game drives. You will have a chance to visit Chimp and Rhino sanctuaries.

Optional Activities: – Night game drive, offered by Sweetwaters Serena & Ol Pejeta House

Overnight: Sanctuary Tambarare/Maisha Sweetwaters/Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 5: Ol Pejeta – Transfer to Maasai Mara via Nairobi

Have breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a morning flight to Maasai Mara. This is a flight through Nairobi. Arrive by noon and be picked by the guide. Check in at the camp and have lunch followed by an afternoon game drive at 3/4p.m.

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Meals: Breakfast , Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 6, 7 & 8: Maasai Mara – Full-day

Spend these 3 days with either full-day game drives or morning and afternoon game drives. Full-day game drive with picnic lunch.

Optional Activities: Balloon ride & Maasai Village visit

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/Olkinyei Mara Tented Lodge/Ilkeliani Camp/Entim Camp/Zebra River Camp

Meals: Breakfast , Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 9: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi by flight

Have breakfast, check out of the camp and head to the airstrip for a flight back to Nairobi or coast. Have lunch in Nairobi before drop off at your hotel or airport.
