A 3-day safari to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha is a great way to experience some of Kenya's impressive natural wonders. There are many flamingos and other bird species to be found in Lake Nakuru, a renowned bird sanctuary. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater haven for a variety of wildlife and is surrounded by beautiful vegetation.

After being picked up in Nairobi, your safari will begin with a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru. You will spend the first day visiting the park and its numerous bird species. On the second day, you will make your way to Lake Naivasha, where you can take a Lake boat ride and also go on a nature walk to witness the local fauna up close.

You will spend your nights in comfortable lodges or tented camps, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. With experienced guides and well-planned itineraries, a Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha safari is sure to provide an unforgettable nature experience.

Detailed Safari Itinerary

 

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Lake Nakuru (Approx. 3 hours)

At 7 a.m, you will be picked by our driver/guide from your Nairobi hotel then depart for Lake Nakuru to arrive by mid-morning. You will have an introductory game drive as you head to the camp/lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 3/4p.m.

Overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge/Sarova Lion Hill/The Cliff

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Morning breakfast – Transfer to Lake Naivasha (Approx. 2 hours)

Have an early-morning game drive from 6-9a.m. then return to the lodge/camp for breakfast. Thereafter, depart for Lake Naivasha to arrive early afternoon. The afternoon is spent on leisure.

Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge/Sawela Lodge/Chui Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Transfer to Nairobi (Approx. 1 hour)

Have breakfast then a boat ride to Crescent Island. After a guided walk in the island ride back and head for Nairobi and be dropped at your hotel or airport.
